A couple of years ago for Christmas, my niece made homemade Christmas cards. (Yes, I know that Christmas was 3 months ago! However, a verification word from earlier today reminded me of this story--so I thought I would share.) On the front, she had some pictures of snowmen. Cute, right? Well, the saying is what was funny. On the front, she wrote "There's no people..." and on the inside she wrote "like snow business." YUP! None of us thought it made sense. We could understand, "There's no business like snow business." Or, "There's no people like snow people." But the way she wrote it...NOT MAKING SENSE!
The following year, her sister sent out Christmas cards that she made. (YES, this is a post to remind you that you might be talented, and you might want to save money making your own cards--BUT DON'T unless you proof, proof, proof them to make sure people don't make fun of you!!!!!!) On the front was just some picture--don't even remember what it was anymore. On the inside was just one word (the verification word I mentioned earlier).
RELISH
Yes, that was the only word. We laugh and joke and reference still to this day. We joke around and say we are going to send out cards that just say "Ketchup" or "Mustard" or "Pickles". I know what she was meaning, but it was quite funny.
Hope you get a laugh....
