Ok. It's official. I truly believe in the Curse--more than I ever did before. Say what you want, but you can't tell me any different.
Events:
1945--Billy Sianis places a curse on the Cubs when they wouldn't let his Billy Goat come to Wrigley Field during the World Series.
1969--A black cat runs onto the field during a Cubs game. The Cubs blow a huge lead and the Mets go to the playoffs.
1984--The Cubs make it to the playoffs. While in San Diego, numerous missteps happen.
1989--Again, more miscues on the field.
2003--BARTMAN. Need I say more???????
2007--Swept in 3 games by the Diamondbacks.
2008--Did you see tonight's game? It was like a circus act. Grown men completely forgot how to play the game.
We all thought 100 years was enough. I guess ol' Billy Sianis meant 100 years from 1945!

oh no!! 100 from 1945? the game is still on, it is past midnight here, have to teach tomorrow, and the score is 9 to 1.
