♥I remember our trip to San Francisco when I was in kindergarten. We had great adventures--being locked in the cells at Alcatraz, staying with strangers while the "grown-ups" took a trip, but mostly I remember trusting you and crossing a log--when we were told to stay away from the quarry! I also remember falling off that log into the cold water and walking up the hill crying because I knew we were in trouble.
♥I remember our trip to St. Louis the summer after I was in first grade. Going to the top of the Arch with you (this time, the "grown-ups" were afraid), and learning to swim after you took me to the deep end and let me go.
♥I remember when you stayed with us for awhile when I was in third grade. Walking to the 7-11 in the dark and being "followed" made for a scary trip--but, you had the plan!
♥I remember getting your hand-me-down jeans! Oh, I how I loved that!!! I thought I was just the coolest thing.
♥I remember your Sweet 16th Birthday party. How all of your friends were there.
♥I remember sewing a yellow bunting to give to you at your baby shower. I don't think it was ever used--Who in their right mind would dress a baby in such a hot thing in May!?!?!?! But, it was the thought that counts, right?
♥I remember going to my first White Sox game at Old Comiskey Park. The best part of that night was you telling others not to argue with me when it comes to baseball because I KNEW baseball. I still love the game!!!
♥I remember your braces--especially now that I have them for the second time!
♥I remember Christmas 1998.
♥I remember February 1999.
♥I remember songs such as Holiday, Leather and Lace, Rhiannon, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Cocaine, The Stroke.
