Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day. The day we are to remember those who lost their lives serving our country. We have turned it into a day to honor all of those who have ever served our country. This is a good thing. But, WHY DON'T PEOPLE REMEMBER THE MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY ON OTHER DAYS....ESPECIALLY SINCE LOTS ARE SERVING IN DANGEROUS PLACES RIGHT NOW???????

Ok....off the soap box. I just know that I have several family members who have served as well as former students--one who was severly injured a few years ago. BT still hasn't recovered to a point where he can communicate in a fashion other than blinking. Another former student was just injured a few weeks ago. Thankfully, he will recover with very few physical scars.

Please keep all of these men and women in your thoughts and prayers.
