Gripe

I was having dinner tonight with my "little" brother--he is actually a son of a co-worker. He only has a brother, so he has adopted me. We were discussing the upcoming election, and he made a comment that had me completely unglued. He stated "One of the teachers at school said she was going to vote for Obama but now she isn't because he is pro-abortion."

I'm sorry, but that is the DUMBEST thing I have ever heard. I don't know a single person in this world--AND IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!--who is Pro-Abortion. I know people who are Pro-Life and people who are Pro-Choice, but NO ONE WHO IS PRO-ABORTION!!!!!!!

I asked him if he knew what it meant to be pro-abortion. He couldn't tell me. I asked him if he knew what being pro-life and pro-choice meant. Again, he didn't know. What a sad state our society is in when children have no clue what any of those mean, and we have EDUCATORS discussing it! (By-the-way, this is illegal, but I'm not going there.)

I consider myself pro-life and pro-choice. Yes, I can be both!

the one thing that really bothered my in the third debate was how McCain kept saying pro abortion....who is that? you can be pro choice and not for abortion...but rather, pro choice...like you, I don't have time now to go there.
