My Very First Post!

Welcome! I'm working on getting this site up and running to share with friends. I've read many blogs, but have never had one of my own. I hope I don't screw it up! One of my closest friends has a blog and has inspired me. (Actually, she has wanted me to do this for a while, but I've been leary.) Since I just went through a hurricane evacuation (IKE! YIKES is more like it!) I wanted to get this up and running to show some of the devastation. Honestly, what I have to share is NOTHING compared to what is happening up in Galveston. For those of you reading, please keep all of the people of the coast of Texas in your thoughts. I'll be back in a bit to see if this worked! Happy Day!
